Relying on the great web of all things

The whole notion of self-reliance is such a myth. Everything that I have accomplished in my life, or that anyone else has accomplished in their lives, has been a gigantic, cooperative effort. Looking back in time, every effort involved hundreds if not thousands of people and a universe of resources. So I'm putting it all out there and seeing how "The Universe" will respond. In Esther Hick's/Abraham's terminology, I'm trying to stand in the Vortex. I'm trying to raise my vibrations and incidentally, manage my seratonin and dopamine. I had a couple of cups of coffee and my Life Force power smoothie. I felt very happy.

Yesterday, I went for a beautiful walk along the Highline Canal. The canal was flowing for the first time this year, and the path was really green...as is the whole city after all of the rain we've had. It was a sunny morning...delightfully cool and just warm enough. One woman approached me, with a broad smile, consciously made eye contact and wished me a "Blest day." I wished her the same. I noticed that the canal water, while turbid and "muddy" had a luminous green cast. It's not in the water. The green is the reflection of all the leaves that crowd the banks. It's the green reflected from all the overarching and nearby vegetation.

In a coming post, I'll put up the recipe for the shake I've been drinking in the mornings. It definitely boosts your mood and makes your vision of the world seem very clear.
